• Need-Based Financial Aid

Need-based financial aid is awarded based on the student’s or family’s financial circumstances. Such aid includes:

• Federal Pel Grant
• Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant
• Federal Work Study
• Federal Family Educational Loan Program

•   Non-Need Based Financial Aid

Non-need based financial aid is awarded regardless of the student’s or family’s financial circumstances. These awards may be based on:

• A student’s academic credentials
• Standardized test scores
• Special talents, such as sports, music, or leadership
• Alumni affiliations of other family members
• Parent’s employer
