It is designed strictly to be a "link up" service where people and organizations can make contact. MS Manufactured Housing Association

Website – www.msmmha.com

Contact – Jennifer Hall - 601-939-8820 and jenhall@msmmha.com, Mary Alice Browning in Gov’s office is in charge of housing - 601-576-2014

Jennifer Hall is the head of the MS Manufactured Housing Assn.  She says many businesses are purchasing homes for employees outright because FEMA is taking too long.  She has an inventory of homes and they are available.  One issues is zoning for wind. Coast zoning typically takes a Zone 2 home that can withstand higher winds.  Zone 1 homes are rated for 70-80 mph winds.  Zone 1 homes are readily available.  Just need fire marshal approval to use them temporarily on the Coast.

Per Jennifer, FEMA has 20,000 small units, RVs and/or travel trailers coming in, but it is not known who will get them.  People have to register with FEMA to apply.  They will be setting these up on Friday.

Jennifer Hall also mentioned that there is a mobile home park in Ocean Springs that has undamaged units available.

- Single units run $25,000 to $28,000.  16 x 72 or 16 x 90.  700 to 1200 sq. ft.

   small 3bdrm/2bath

- Multi units run $35,000 to $40,000 and up.  1500 sq ft and up.  3 and 4 bdrm.

Set up costs are additional, but says that these can be set up in parking lots if there is access to water and a generator or can be hooked up to an existing electrical connection.  They have their own “bladder” to handle sewage/waste issues.

To receive further information on how you can purchase, please contact Jennifer Hall at 601-939-8820 or jenhall@msmmha.com.
